Ladd A. Overdorf

ladd-overdorfLadd A. Overdorf, 63, Wellsville, NY, passed away Sunday December 18, 2016 in Rochester, NY.

Born December 21, 1952, he was the son of the late John J. Overdorf Sr. and Avis A. (Keen) Overdorf. His mother survives.

He married Karen L. Kling on January 27, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives.

Ladd was a graduate of the DuBois Area High School and earned a degree in accounting from PSU. He was a pipefitter for Overdorf Plumbing and Heating of DuBois. Ladd was a member of Garfield Lodge #559 and the Pipefitter’s Union #354. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. He was Protestant by faith.

In addition to his wife and mother, Ladd is survived by three stepsons, Brian (Amanda) Hunt of Wellsville, NY, Blaine (Britney) Hunt of Hornell, NY, and Greg Lewis of Brocport, NY; three grandchildren, Brynn, Braylee, and Hadden Hunt; two brothers, Edwin A. (Marla) Overdorf and John (Donna) Overdorf Jr., all of DuBois; two nieces, Jodi (John) Glas of Harrisburg and Leslie (Pete) Imbrogno of DuBois; and a nephew, Justin (Rebecca) Overdorf of DuBois.

He was preceded in death by his father, great-nephew, Jacob John Overdorf, and a grandson, Bryson Hunt.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, December 22nd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. of DuBois, PA.

Masonic services by Garfield Lodge #559 will be held on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 23rd at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel with Rev. John Martin officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
