LaRue C. Ireland, 46, of Butler [a native of Rimersburg], passed away at the home of her parents’ at 5:00 AM Tuesday May 10, 2016 following a period of declining health.
Born December 14, 1969 in Brookville, she was the daughter of Larry W. and Carrol A. Kriebel Ireland of Rimersburg, who survive.
LaRue was a 1987 graduate of Union High School in Rimersburg and received an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Butler Co. Community College in 1990. She was educated as a legal secretary and was last employed as a case manager at USIS in Boyers.
LaRue was a Christian and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she is survived by a sister Jessica Ireland of Butler, a brother Vern Ireland and wife Terri of West Sunbury, and a nephew and nieces Samantha and Timothy Ireland and Antonia and Elise Switzer.
LaRue’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday May 12, 2016 at the Varner Funeral Home of Rimersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday May 13, 2016 from the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Fetter, Pastor of the Rimersburg United Methodist Church, officiating.
