Laurel Festival Continues with YMCA Laurel Race, Grand Parade, ‘Michael Christopher’

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The 2015 Western Pennsylvania Laurel Festival continues today with YMCA Laurel Race; Grand Parade; the band “Michael Christopher,” and much more.

The annual outdoor festival will feature a pageant, a carnival, a parade, a food court, craft and sidewalk sales, musical entertainment, and more.

This year the theme is “Let’s Paint the Town.”

Saturday, June 20

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Nimble Thimble Quilt Show, Nazarene Church, Evans Street

11:00 a.m. – YMCA Laurel Race, Main Street
1:00 p.m. – Chicken BBQ, Pinecreek Volunteer Fire Company, Main Street
12:00 p.m. – Brookville Band Booster Ducky Race, Floating down the creek
2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Grey Knights Drum & Bugle Corp., Main Street
4:00 p.m. – Grand Parade, Main Street
2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Rides, Main Street
