Lela Mae Keck, 77, of Summerville, PA, died Friday September 26, 2014 at her home in Summerville.
Born September 4, 1937, in Buffalo NY, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Stahlman Grace.
Lela graduated from Summerville High School.
On June 26, 1954, she was married to Robert Allen Keck in Summerville. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She was employed in the Brookville School District as a school bus driver until her retirement in November of 2011. She was a member of the Summerville Church of Christ.
Lela is survived by two sons, Timothy “Angie” Keck of Summerville and Shawn Keck of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Pam Ruffner of Hawthorn, Sherry Keck of Rochester, NY., and Colleen “Brent” Kiehl of Mayport. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Crystal Lee.
At the family’s request there will be no public visitation.
Interment will be in Shannondale Union Cemetery, Redbank Twp., Clarion County, Pa.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.
