Leigh Ann Mumford

Mumford, Leigh AnnLeigh Ann Mumford, 57, of Pine Street, Brookville passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 surrounded by loved ones.

Born in the Brookville Hospital on July 12, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William and Vivian Schuckers.

She was a 1975 graduate of Brookville Area High School.

She married the love of her life, Randy Mumford on June 24, 1977.

Along with her husband, she owned and operated The McMurray Printing Company from 1992 until 2010.

She was then was employed as a teller at Farmers National Bank until her illness early last year.

She was active in many organizations in the community, having served on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson County Red Cross and the Brookville Area United Fund for many years. She also was a past volunteer for Brookville Area Little League and Jefferson County Fair.

She was an active member of the Roseville Independent Chapel.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Randy Mumford and a daughter, Jill (Jeffrey) McLaughlin. She was “Goo Goo” to one granddaughter, Gabby Anne McLaughlin. She is also survived by a brother, Michael (Mary) Schuckers and several aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins, including Andrea Shaffer and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents earlier this year.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21 at the McKinney Funeral Home 345 Main St. Brookville with a Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 22 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor James Fillhart.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA.

Leigh Ann has asked for memorials to be made to the Roseville Chapel Building Fund, 3381 Route 322, Brookville, PA or the Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital, 150 Doctors Lane, Suite 1, Clarion, PA 16214.
