Leona Pauline Griffith, 67, of Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her home.
She was born December 26, 1953, in Punxsutawney, to Shirley J. (Blose) and Wayne B. Combs, Sr.
Leona was a graduate of Jeff Teach.
She attended the New Life Fellowship Church in Timblin and enjoyed reading, crafts, shopping, yard sales, hauling the Amish, campfires, cooking and baking and making Christmas candy.
Her family and grandchildren were her number one priority in her life.
She worked as a babysitter, a private duty home health care aide and most recently in senior assist services.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sons, Fred Griffith and wife Brandy, Brook Griffith and fiancé Tammy Brooks and Wayne Griffith all of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Austin Griffith, Holden Griffith, Sydney Griffith and Caitlin Hill; four siblings, brother Robert Powell and wife Jacque “Toot” of Ringgold, sister LaDonna Rudolph and husband Jeff of Punxsutawney, sister Bonnie Farster and husband Craig of Brookville and sister Jenny Smith and husband Gary of Punxsutawney.
She was preceded in death by her sister Sharon Powell and a brother Wayne B. Combs, Jr.
Memorial donations, in memory of Leona, may be made to the New Life Fellowship Church.
