Leonard J. Riccardo, Sr., 74, of Punxsutawney, died at Punxsutawney Hospital Tuesday, November 9, 2021 following an illness.
Born January 14, 1947 in New Brunswick, NJ, he was the son of the late James and Mary Serian Riccardo.
He was a graduate of SSCD and proudly served his country as a Private in the US Army.
Previously he had worked as an assembly worker and welder for Rolo and later at Miller Welding.
He was a member of the F.O.E in Punxsutawney and Rossiter Legion.
Those surviving him are his sons, Leonard Riccardo Jr. and Kenneth Riccardo.
His parents preceded him in death.
Furlong Funeral home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. .was entrusted with final arrangement for Mr. Riccardo.
There will be no services held as per his wishes.
Interment will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Bell TWP., Punxsutawney.
