Lezzer Lumber Classic All-Star Football Game Being Played Friday at Clearfield HS


HYDE, Pa. (D9Sports) – The 35th Annual Lezzer Lumber Classic All-Star Game will be played at 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Clearfield High School.

Over 70 recently graduated high school seniors will take part in the game with the teams being broken into a North and South squad with the North coached by Bald Eagle Area’s Jesse Nagle and the South by Juniata Valley’s Bill Musser.

District 9 athletes are on the North squad and include Brockway’s Peter Downer and Leyton Mangiantini, Brookville’s Dylan Barber, Clearfield’s Chris Fenton, Avry Gisewhite, Ryan Lazauskas and Taye Lynch, Curwensville’s Avery Francisco and Noah VonGunden and DuBois Andrew Boyle, Blaise Carney, Jordan Frano and Eric Schneider

A number of District 9 athletes were also Invited to play but unable to participate for various reasons including Brockway’s Jonathan Beck, Brookville’s Bryan Dworek and Cabe Park, Clarion’s Camden Boggess and Bowen Hartley, Curwensville’s Cole Bressler and DuBois’ Dylan McCluskey.

The game is organized and run by the Central Pennsylvania Football Coaches Association (CPFCA).

In addition to the game, 12 scholarships will also be awarded including two Madalyn White Huber Memorial Scholarships, two Jack Bailey Memorial Scholarships, two J. Gawen Stoker Memorial Scholarships, two CPFCA Scholarships and four MVP Award winners.

Tickets will be available at the gate.
