Linda Louise Mohney, 70, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from this life to her eternal home in heaven.
She was born on March 14, 1951, in Jackson, MI, to Blake and Dorothy (Miller) Mohney.
Linda was a graduate of Adrian High School. She resided in Adrian, MI, with her family until 1970 when the family moved to Punxsutawney, PA.
Linda loved nature and was well versed in the migratory patterns of many bird varieties.
She fed the birds and had a pattern of hand feeding the birds from her hands and the bill of her hat at the family estate home.
She also loved the family dogs and had a fondness for animals that continued throughout her life. Linda loved to read and followed sports avidly. She was a great fan of the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!
She recently had moved to Sprankles Personal Care Home, until the diagnosis of cancer moved her to Mulberry Square where she passed on from this life.
There will be no visitation. A private funeral service is being held for the immediate family under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
