Lindsey A. LaBorde

It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Lindsey A. LaBorde, 36, Clearfield, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home.

Born February 25, 1985, she was the daughter of Cristen and Patricia (Kanouff) LaBorde.

Lindsey was a 2004 graduate of DuBois Area High School as well as the PA Academy of Cosmetology.

She was currently enrolled at Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus.

Lindsey was a licensed cosmetologist and worked many years with clients at JCPenney and other salons in DuBois.

She loved and was very passionate about being a stylist.

She had also been previously employed by Penn Highlands as a patient care tech and medical office assistant.

She enjoyed spending time with family, going to camp, target shooting, reading and cuddling her fur babies, Copey and Harley – there was hardly a day that she didn’t brag on them or show off pictures.

Lindsey had a kind soul, never knowing a stranger, and would always make you feel welcome.

Anyone that knew her, knew she had a big heart and was truly devoted to the ones she loved.

She would go above and beyond to help anyone that she could, especially those she cared deeply about.

Lindsey touched the lives of many; she was and always will be immensely treasured and missed.

In addition to her parents, Lindsey is survived by her sister, Chrissy (Bryon) Hilliard, DuBois, her nephew, Tyler Hilliard, her niece, Jaelyn Hilliard, her fiancé, Trevor Bloom, stepson, Cooper Bloom, several aunts, an uncle, and many cousins.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Erma Kanouff, and Dan and Shirley LaBorde, as well as aunts, Carol Swanson and Cora Butler.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

A funeral service will follow the visitation from the funeral chapel at 4 p.m. with Rev. Rick Howe officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society, P.O. Box 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
