Diana Farley with book imageBROOKVILLE, Pa. – Local author Diana Farley will be the featured speaker at this year’s author luncheon sponsored by Rebecca M. Arthurs Memorial Library, on Wednesday, June 15, at 11:30 a.m., at Pinecrest Country Club.

The event fee of $30.00 includes lunch and the program.

Farley’s memoir The Road Back to Hell will be available for purchase. She will also sign previously purchased copies of her book. The luncheon benefits the library, and Diana is donating a portion of book sales to the library.

Diana Farley grew up in the Jamestown, NY area but spent much of her adult life in Brookville, so she is widely known in the area. Her sense of humor and cheerful style will bring a smile to many faces as she discusses her life and writing.

She began writing in 1959 when she wrote a play that was performed by her fifth grade class at CC Ring School. The Road Back to Hell is her first book, and she has plans for a second book using more material about her life.

Tickets are available at the library in Brookville or may be purchased online at www.rmalib.org.
