Local Man Accused of Lewd Act While Juvenile Co-Worker Present

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Strattanville man is facing charges after he allegedly performed a sexual act in the presence of a juvenile co-worker at a Clarion Township business.

According to court documents, Clarion-based State Police filed criminal charges in Magisterial District Judge Duane L. Quinn’s office against 32-year-old Kyle Gary Fye, of Strattanville, on Thursday, February 21.

According to a criminal complaint, on January 24, a known victim arrived at the Clarion State Police station to report an incident that occurred on January 21 at a known business on South 5th Avenue in Clarion Township.

Through interviews with the victim, it was learned that on January 21 between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., Kyle Fye and the victim both arrived early for their shift and entered the breakroom to wait for their shift to begin.

The victim told Trooper MacTavish, of PSP Clarion, that she felt uncomfortable about Fye in the past as he has referred to her as “jail bait” and made other various sexual comments about her and other juveniles at the known business, the complaint states.

While waiting for their shift to begin, the victim was playing on her phone at the breakroom table as Fye was seated across from her at the table.

The victim stated that she heard Fye breathing heavy and moaning, and she looked up from her cell phone and “observed Fye moving his arm in a motion as if he were masturbating under the table.” At this time, the victim became alarmed and left the room to go clock in for work, according to the complaint.

The following charges were filed against Fye:

– Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1
– Open Lewdness, Misdemeanor 3

A preliminary arraignment is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, with Judge Quinn presiding.
