MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois will be a busy place for PIAA events this week.
On 7 p.m. Tuesday, District 9 champion Coudersport takes on WPIAL champion Greensburg Central Catholic in the PIAA Class 1A volleyball semifinals at the high school gym.
Also on Tuesday at the Turf Field behind the high school, District 10 champion Erie Cathedral faces off against District 3 champion Lower Dauphin at 6 p.m. in a 3A boys’ semifinal match.
Then, at 7 p.m. Friday, Kane takes on District 5 champ Chestnut Ridge in the opening round of the PIAA Class 2A football plays at Mansell Stadium.
Friday is also the District 9 1A football championship game at 7 p.m. at Brockway’s Varischetti Field between Ridgway and Elk County Catholic, while Karns City opens up PIAA Class 3A football action at 1 p.m. Saturday against District 10 champion Hickory at Slippery Rock University.
