Log Truck Rolls Over on Route 36, Spills Load

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Emergency workers were called to the scene of a tractor trailer crash this morning on Route 36, in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

According to Jefferson County Department of Emergency Services, the tractor trailer rolled over and spilled a load of logs onto the roadway around 9:20 a.m.

The roadway was closed for approximately three hours while workers cleared the roadway.

Emergency crews from Sigel, Pine Creek, and Jefferson County Ambulance responded to the scene.

Farmington Twp., Marienville, and Brookville were dispatched to block all commercial traffic on Route 36.

Bauer Truck Repair responded to the scene to recover and tow the truck.

There is no word on whether anyone was injured in the accident.
