Loraine Rossey, 88, of Clarington, died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Serenity House in Shippenville.
Born November 14, 1927 in Clarington, she was the daughter of the late Cecil B. and Bessie A. Dunkle Cassatt.
On June 11, 1947, she married Roy T. Rossey in Uniontown; he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Rossey was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing puzzles.
Surviving are her son and his wife, Teddy and Sandra Rossey, of Lititz, PA and her daughter Sandra D. Good, of Mountville, PA. She is also survived by her sister, Charlotte L. Spratt, of Brookville.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Rossey is preceded in death by a brother, Homer Cassatt and a sister, Catherine Reich.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Corsica.
Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 12 pm with the Reverend Jim Chase officiating.
