Loretta Ann Gallina, 68 of Valier, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Gallina was born July 24, 1947 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Carmen Pete and Mary Louise (Kaylor) Gallina.
She was a 1965 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and went on to further her education by becoming an LPN working for both Brookville and DuBois Hospitals.
Loretta was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends.
She loved playing bingo and decorating for all of the holidays.
She is survived by two sons; James Clinton Gallina and wife Joni, Richard Dee Gallina and wife Angel, four beloved granddaughters; Ashley, Erica, Autumn and Amber Dee and one brother; Clinton Gallina and wife Anne, several nieces, one nephew, several great nieces, one great nephew and two great- great nieces along with her dear friends; Robin Maxim, Deb Gillung and Kay Suchocki.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister; Mary louise Gallina.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday, November 11 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, November 12 at the funeral home with Pastor James Lantz officiating.
Interment will follow in Valier Cemetery.
