Lorraine C. Savelli

Member_1545101[1]Lorraine C. Savelli, 86, of Clarion, passed away, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Christ The King Manor in Dubois.

She was born on August 20, 1929 in Valley Forge, PA; daughter of James and Cecelia Hantz Soha.

Lorraine graduated from the Immaculate Conception High School in Clarion in 1947.

She was married to Vado J. Savelli on October 25, 1949; he preceded her in death.

Lorraine was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, where she was a former organist.

Lorraine enjoyed cross word puzzles, needle point, cooking, and playing the piano and the organ.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol Gritzer of Dubois, Angela Savelli of Clarion, and Julie Savelli of Dubois, six grandchildren, Matt Gritzer and wife Carlie of Reynoldsville, Jennifer Moldeahauer and husband Scot of Dubois, Emily Youngdahl and husband Dan od Reynoldsville, Amanda Parsons and husband Neal of Suffix, Virginia, Laura Ruane and husband Brian of Dubois, Lindsey Hallstorm of Portland, Oregon, and nine great grandchildren, Ben, Matson, Johnny, Tristan, Westin, Tori, Max, Lillian, and Isaac, one sister, Marie Renninger of Shippenville.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family will receive from 4 to 7 pm Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor as presider.

Interment will follow in the Immaculate Church Cemetery.
