Luella “Betty” Holt Fuller

Luella “Betty” Holt Fuller, 96, formerly of Oak St. Brookville, Pa., passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Jefferson Manor, Brookville, Pa.

Born on November 27, 1917, in Butler, Pa., she was the daughter of David L. Holt and Emma Britton Holt.

In 1941, she married Alfred “Bud” Fuller, in Brookville, Pa.; he preceded her in death on March 25, 1970.

Betty was a homemaker and also worked for the American Hotel in Brookville, Pa.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Brookville, Pa. for over 50 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Medwid of Erie, Pa., and Jane Gilson (Rick) of Meadville, Pa.; a son John Fuller (Brenda) of Clarion, Pa.; a sister, Miriam Ray of Brookville, Pa.; ten grandchildren, Barb Haft, Mark Medwid, Stephanie Phillips, Kim Medwid, Mary Jane Davis, Lore Brightman, Kate Gilson, Holly, Hannah, and Krysta Fuller; 13 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren, with a 9th that is due in February.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Fuller and a grandson, Matt Davis.

Private services were held at the McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville, Pa., on Monday, January 13, 2014 with The Rev. Nathan Royster officiating.

Interment was at Brookville Cemetery in Brookville, Pa.
