Luthersburg Woman Suffers Minor Injuries in Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Crash

State PoliceBRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle occurred around 5:47 p.m. May 10 in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

Police say the accident occurred as Kristine A. Dixon, 41, of Luthersburg, was traveling south on State Route 219 on her 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle.

Dixon had allegedly made a right turn on to SR-219 from SR-322 and failed to see a 2008 Infiniti FX45 operated by Carolina Acuna, 30, of Flushing, NY, that was stopped on the roadway.

According to police, Dixon allegedly tried to avoid Acuna’s vehicle by passing on the left as Acuna was making a U-turn.

Dixon’s motorcycle allegedly struck Acuna’s vehicle in the 11 o’clock position and left the east side of roadway.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were able to be driven from the scene of the accident.

Dixon sustained minor injuries in the crash, say police.

Acuna and her two passengers – Lucerno Ariza, 39, of Astoria, NY, and a 5-year-old female, of Flushing, NY – were all restrained using safety belts and were uninjured.

Dixon and Acuna were each issued a traffic citation.

PSP DuBois were assisted on scene by Brady Township Fire Department and Brady Township Ambulance Service.
