Lyle “Pork” Connacher, Jr.

Connacher Lyle PorkLyle “Pork” Connacher, Jr., 64, of Warren, PA. died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Warren General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born December 8, 1950 in Dubois, PA. He was the son of Lyle H. and Rhonda Zimmerman Connacher, Sr.

Pork was a Warren area resident since 2000, moving there from Brockway, PA.

He was a 1969 graduate of Ridgway Area High School and was employed with Cristini Auto Wrecking as a truck driver for 20 years and with Blair Corporation as a vending machine operator.

Pork was a member of Irvine Presbyterian Church where he was a church greeter and deacon. He was an active member with Chief Cornplanter Council for Boy Scouts of America where he was a unit commissioner, and was awarded the District Award of Merit and Silver Beaver.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, Nascar fan and active with Boy Scout of America Troop 22.

He is survived by his 3 Daughters – Hope Boleen and husband, Roger, Carrie Connacher all of Brockway, PA., Melissa Connacher-Alsbaugh and husband, Charles of DuBois, PA., 2 Brothers – Robert “Bob” Connacher and wife, Carol of Ridgway, PA., Francis Connacher and wife, Barb of Brockway, PA., 1 Sister – Molly Ann Connacher and her companion, Don of Ridgway, PA., Longtime friends – David and Barbara Mourer, Jr., of Youngsville, PA., 3 Grandchildren – Ryan, Ariana, Haley, 4 Step grandchildren – JoseLynn, Gage, Robert James and Sabryna, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren – Nicole and Brian David, 5 Siblings – Margaret Paulhala, Franklin, Leonard, Helen and John Connacher.

Friends may call at the Irvine Presbyterian Church Outdoor Worship area on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 P.M. Members of the Boy Scouts will conduct their Scout Vespers Service at 3:45 P.M., followed by a funeral service at 4:00 P.M. by Rev. Dennis Ledebur, Pastor, officiating.
