Man Threatens to ‘Beat Up, Shoot’ Woman in Brookville; Resists Arrest

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say around 1:30 p.m. on October 13, a man made terroristic threats on Mabon Street, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Brookville Police were met in the Brookville parking lot by a female “very shaken up and extremely upset, crying,” according to police.

Police say the female indicated that she was at a Mabon Street residence checking on the welfare of her friend, and the friend’s boyfriend came out of the residence threatening to beat her up and shoot her.

The female stated that she came directly to the police station.

Brookville Police met with the suspect, and he told police, “I feel like beating someone up right now.”

The suspect was interviewed at Brookville Police Station where he became very agitated and began physically fighting with the police while in the station, according to police.

The suspect was arrested on the following offenses:

– Terroristic Threats
– Harassment
– Disorderly Conduct
– Resisting Arrest

He was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.

The name of the suspect was not released.
