Man Charged with Ethnic Intimidation, Terroristic Threats in Brookville

handcuffsBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Police say a man is being charged with Ethnic Intimidation and related charges stemming from an incident that occurred at Truck Stops of America, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Around 10:00 a.m. on March 11, Brookville Police were called to the Truck Stops of America for two male actors fighting in the rear lot.

Upon Officer Markle’s arrival, it was determined that one of the actors called the other actor an ethnic slur (a N*****) and held a large knife in his hand, police say.

Through the course of the investigation, the knife was located, and the actor is being charged with the following offenses:

  • Ethnic Intimidation
  • Terroristic Threats
  • Harassment
  • Disorderly Conduct

The name of the suspect was not released.
