PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A man escaped injuries when his vehicle traveled off the road and hit a utility pole in Pine Creek Township on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 24-year-old Marcus T. Slaugenhoup, of Parker, was driving a 2016 Promaster van south on Route 28 when it left the roadway and slammed into a pole.
Slaugenhoup was wearing a seat belt and wasn’t injured.
He was charged with a traffic violation.
The van was heavily damaged and was removed from the scene by Bricen’s Towing.
