Man Faces Charges for PFA Order Violation in Brookville

liceBROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say charges are pending against a man accused of violating a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order in Brookville.

On October 15, Brookville Borough Police were contacted by a victim who is a protected party named in a Protection From Abuse Order who reported that a known 35-year-old male the victim is under protection from violated the order.

According to police, the victim reported the man saw the victim in a room, then entered the room and stood watching the victim attempting to leave, in what the victim believed to be an attempt to show the victim they are not safe.

Police then obtained security video from the hallways around the room where the incident occurred, which reportedly confirmed the victim’s report of the incident.

According to police, charges have been filed.

The name of the accused was not released.
