Man Faces Charges for Resisting Arrest Following Domestic Incident

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a man is facing charges for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following a domestic incident in Brookville Borough on Tuesday.

Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to the area of Jared Street on Tuesday, May 19, for a report of a domestic violence situation.

During the course of the investigation, Brookville Borough Police and Punxsutawney-based State Police had a confrontation with a male who was involved in the incident.

Police say the man was then taken into custody and placed in the Jefferson County jail awaiting arraignment on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

The name of the accused was not released.
