Man Faces Indecent Exposure Charge for Allegedly Urinating in Public

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – According to the Brookville Borough Police, a 45-year-old man is facing an indecent exposure charge for allegedly urinating in public.

According to court documents, the Brookville Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 45-year-old Havi Itzhak, of Brooklyn, New York, in Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak’s office.

According to a criminal complaint, borough police were dispatched to the area of West Main Street in Brookville Borough, Jefferson County, for a report of a man urinating in the grass near Allegheny Boulevard in plain view of the public around 5:45 a.m. on October 31.

A known witness told police that she was pulling into the Sheetz gas station when he saw a man, later identified as Havi Itzhak, standing near a silver Mercedes Benz, urinating in the grass between the Sheetz and the S&T Bank near Allegheny Boulevard, the complaint states.

The witness stated that he could “clearly see everything,” speaking about Itzhak’s genitals, the complaint indicates

Police interviewed Itzhak at the Sheetz store. Itzhak initially told police that he did not urinate in the grass near Allegheny Boulevard. After a short time, Itzhak admitted to it, but pointed to a different section of grass, according to the complaint.

Itzhak stated that he had pulled off the interstate and that he needed to urinate, so he parked his vehicle and relieved himself in the grass, the complaint notes.

According to the complaint, Itzhak stated that he “saw no issue with (urinating) in public view.”

When he was informed that he would receive charges in the mail, Itzhak immediately began to argue that he should not be charged and that there was nothing wrong with urinating in public, the complaint notes.

He faces the following charge:

– Indecent Exposure, Misdemeanor 2

A preliminary hearing is slated for Monday, January 3, at 2:00 p.m. with Judge Bazylak presiding.
