According to a criminal complaint, Trooper Connor, of the DuBois-based State Police, responded to a reported domestic dispute on Bond Street in Brockway Borough around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 24.

At the scene, Trooper Connor found Brian Timothy Coppock and an unconscious victim at the top of a flight of stairs. A sternum rub raised the victim to semi-consciousness and medical assistance was requested, as the victim reported head pain.

According to the complaint, Coppock reported he and the victim hadn’t spoken much in the last few days, and the victim suddenly kicked in the bathroom door and ripped the shower down while Coppock was in the shower. He said the victim then ran out of the bathroom and he tackled her, which caused her to strike her head on the edge of the wooden door frame as they both fell to the ground.

The complaint notes the victim was believed to have suffered a concussion. She had a bruise on her left triceps, as well as bruising on the back of her head.

Coppock was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak at 2:35 p.m. on November 24.

He remains free on $20,000.00 unsecured bail.
