Man Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on Route 36

ELDRED TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he crashed his vehicle late Tuesday night on Route 36 in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 10:45 p.m. on September 5, Ryan J. Kennedy, 32, of East Falmouth, Mass., was driving a 2009 Toyota Yaris south on Route 36.

Police say Kennedy was driving too fast, crossed the road, and hit an embankment before his car became airborne and rolled several times before landing in the south lane.

Jefferson County EMS transported Kennedy to Brookville Hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

He was wearing his seat belt.

According to police, Kennedy will be charged with a traffic violation.
