According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, a known 22-year-old Rossiter man pulled a 55-year-old female victim’s hair and choked her at a location on West Side Street in Rossiter.
The accused was placed into custody and was transported to the Indiana County Jail awaiting a preliminary arraignment with District Magisterial Judge Welch.
The name of the accused was not released.
