Man Jailed After Meth Lab Discovered in Brookville Home

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A 23-year-old man was jailed following a meth lab bust Sunday in Brookville Borough, Jefferson County.

Brookville Police Department was dispatched to a residence along Crestwood Circle to investigate evidence of suspected methamphetamine production.

Officers were met by the homeowner who stated that she had been away and upon her return located what she believed to be evidence of methamphetamine production.

Police say items related to the production of methamphetamine were removed from the home with assistance from members of the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, Jefferson County EMA, and the Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team.

The following charges were subsequently filed against 23-year-old Cody J. Ferringer:

Ferringer was placed in the Jefferson County Jail after failing to post $125,000 cash bail.

He faces a preliminary hearing on October 26 before Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak.
