MCCALMONT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a 57-year-old man suffered major injuries following an ATV crash that occurred this morning on Graffius Avenue, north of Graffius Avenue Extension, in McCalmont Township, Jefferson County.
Police say around 10:55 a.m. on July 26, 57-year-old Ernest S. Sharp, of DuBois, and 27-year-old Stevion E. Sharp, of Punxsutawney, were involved in the collision.
This two-vehicle crash occurred as a 1995 Yamaha Warrior ATV operated by Ernest Sharp was traveling north on Graffius Avenue Extension behind Stevion Sharp, who was traveling on a 1990 Yamaha Warrior ATV, according to police.

Both vehicles came to a final rest off the east side of the roadway, facing to the north, according to police.
Ernest Sharp had major head injuries and was transported by life flight to Altoona Hospital, police say.
Stevion Sharp was not injured, according to police.
