Man Throws Dead Groundhog, Dead Grouse into Bar, Flees Scene

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say around 7:54 p.m. on April 14, an incident of disorderly conduct occurred at Bill’s Bar in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, a known male entered Bill’s Bar and threw a dead groundhog into the bar and fled the scene.

Police say the perpetrator left in a red Ford extended cab truck with another male driving the vehicle.

A partial Pennsylvania registration plate of ZBW was reported to the police.

At around 8:54 p.m. the known perpetrators returned to Bill’s Bar and threw a dead grouse into the bar.

Brookville Police contacted the Pennsylvania Game Commission about the incident.

The Game Commission is sending a Conservation Officer to investigate the incident involving the taking of animals out of season and other game law violations connected with this incident.

The investigation continues.
