Man Wanted in Ohio on Drug Charges Arrested in Pinecreek Township

handcuff-300x225PINECREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – On January 27, 2016, authorities arrested a Fugitive from Justice in Pinecreek Township, Jefferson County.

According to court documents, Jefferson County District Attorney’s office filed charges against 33-year-old Travis Clark Palm, of Middlefield, Ohio.

Court documents indicate he was arraigned in Judge Gregory M. Bazylak’s office and held on $50,000.00 monetary bail on charges of Arrest Prior to Requisition, a third-degree misdemeanor.

According to a criminal complaint, Jefferson County Detective Samuel L. Bartley received an active warrant issued for Jefferson County Jail inmate Travis Palm from the Sheriff’s Department of Ashtabula County, Ohio.

The indictment from Ohio is for the following offenses:

  • Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, Felony 2
  • Aggravated Possession of Drugs, Felony 2
  • Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemical for the Manufacture of Drugs, Felony 3

According to court documents, Palm’s case was transferred to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas.

An extradition hearing was held at 2:00 p.m. on January 28 in front of President Judge John H. Foradora.

The complaint states that Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department will complete extradition of Palm.
