Manette “Minnie” Setree

Manette “Minnie” Setree, 60, of Punxsutawney, passed away at home with her family on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

She was born in Punxsutawney on December 5, 1960, a daughter of the late James Humble and Margaret (Barencik) Humble.

On June 26, 1982, she became the wife of William George Setree. He survives and resides in Punxsutawney.

Manette worked for Community Action as director of the Medical Transportation Assistance Program for over twenty years. She was a devoted to her work and took pride in a job well done.

When she was not a work, she maintained a beautiful home, enjoyed playing with her dog, watching wildlife, birds, deer and elk. She loved her family dearly and was a wonderful mother and wife.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Cody Setree, Christopher Setree, and Jennifer Setree, all of Punxsutawney; two sisters, Colette Robertson and husband Bill of Punxsutawney, Babette Brink of Punxsutawney; four brothers, Kevin Humble of Punxsutawney, Bryce Humble of Punxsutawney, Brian Humble of China and Jayme Humble of Punxsutawney.

In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
