Marcella Dorothy Corrinne, 94 of Waldorf, Maryland, died May 23, 2016 at her residence.
Marcella was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She was a past Girl Scout Leader and volunteer at her children’s schools. She was a writer of the Neighborhood News for the Enquirer Gazette Newspaper in Prince George’s County. Her self-taught knowledge of the stock market was excellent. She was known as a good cook, loved her dogs, and a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She was the daughter of Lewis Elmer Olson and Chleora Brickell Olson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Eugene Andrew Corrinne.
She is survived by her son, Terry M. Corrinne and wife Tracy; her daughters, Rita D. Coughlin and Jeanne R. Corrinne; her sisters, Annamae Paul and Ruth Dunmire; her grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Aimee, Michael, and Brent; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Friends received on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:30AM at New Life Wesleyan Chapel, 9690 Shepherd’s Creek Place, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service in La Plata, MD.
