Margaret Belle Haugh

Margaret Belle Haugh, 91, a guest at Brookside Senior Living in Brookville, formerly of Richards Street, Brookville, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Brookside Senior Living.

Born on the family farm in Brookville Feb. 6, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Elmer G. and Mabel Kelly Haugh.

She worked for Sylvania in Brookville.

Margaret was a 79-year member of the Presbyterian Church in Brookville and volunteered at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and dining out.

She is survived by her nephews, William A. Haugh of Boulder City, Nev. and Paul H. (LuAnn) Haugh of Brookville; nieces, Susan (David) Moore of Reynoldsville and Hud (Gretchen) Gerg of Woodruff, S.C.; nine great-nieces and -nephews, 13 great-grandnieces and -nephews, and one great-great-grandniece.

The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was also preceded in death by a niece, Virginia Haugh Olson; a nephew, John Harvey Haugh; and two brothers, Albert K. Haugh and Paul H. Haugh.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Nathan Royster officiating. Burial will be in Brookville Cemetery.
