Margaret C. Bachelier, 91 of Butler St. Brookville, Pa., died peacefully at home on Tues. February 24, 2015 after a brief illness.
Born on August 20, 1923 in Grampian, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Warner Chelgren and Oleta Bonsall Chelgren.
On November 11, 1947 she was married Raymond C. Bachelier, who preceded her in death on September 17, 2013.
Margaret worked for 15 years at North American Refractory in Curwensville, Pa.
She was a member for over 50 years with strong faith of the First United Methodist Church in Brookville, Pa., a member of the United Methodist Women for over 70 years, a member of the Martha V. Conrad Study Club of Brookville, and also of the Pennsylvania Grange for over 50 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Lila M. Bachelier of Brookville, Pa., a Sister, Dorothy Leach of Curwensville, Pa., Sister-in-Laws, Kathryn Peretti of Florida, Helen Bonsall of Maryland, Becky Garner (James) of Alabama, and Janet Phillips of Virginia, and Brother-in-Law, Samuel Bachelier (Grace) of Grampian, Pa.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a Sister, Helen Hepburn, and a brother, Walter Chelgren.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, February 28, 2015, 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Brookville, Pa. with The Rev. Sharon Schwab officiating.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at The Friends Cemetery in Grampian, Pa.
Interment will be at The Friends Cemetery in Grampian, Pa.
