Margaret J. Christian, 85, of Hill Street, Falls Creek, PA, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Christ the King Manor of DuBois, PA.
A daughter of the late Merle and Sarah (Harriger) Thomas, she was born in Brookville on April 18, 1933.
Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by: her husband, Blair T. Christian; seven sisters, Betty Zilizelberger, Ilene Monks, Nancy Knapp, Doris Cochran, Jean Davis, Marie Hetrick, Ruby Thomas; and two brothers, William and Clinton Thomas.
Margaret is survived by: three children, S. Elaine (Douglas) Pearce of Reynoldsville, Rose Blake of Falls Creek and Daniel (Janet) Christian of DuBois; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, LeRoy Thomas of Brookville and Phoebe Gellnet of Brookville.
A graduate of Brookville High School and member of the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed being at home around her family and her large flower garden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4 – 6 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home, DuBois, PA
Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend David Nagele.
