Maribelle Ruth Slider, 65, of New Bethlehem, died on Thursday morning, April 25, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Fairmount City.
Born August 17, 1947 in Oil City, she was the daughter of Joseph and June (Kellogg) Irwin.
Ms. Slider worked as a nurse’s aide at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
She attended the Christian Fellowship Church in Fairmount City.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelly L. Draa and her husband, Scott, of Fairmount City; three grandchildren, Brandi Schmidt and her husband, Mike, of Fairmount City, Meagan Stevens of Fairmount City, and John Stevens of Clarion; four great-grandchildren, Nadia, Zoe, Marilynn and Wesley; and a brother, Joseph Irwin of Oil City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Irwin.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 26, at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Evans, Clarion Forest VNA Hospice chaplain, officiating.
Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery, Clarion County.
