Marion L. Rakovan, 84 , a resident at the Jefferson Manor, formerly of North View Drive, Brookville, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
Marion was born July 9,1929 in Ashland Township, Clarion Co. PA. the daughter of Wilbur Homer Kiser and Gladys Elslager Kiser. She graduated from Clarion High School and married Martin R. Rakovan, Sr. in 1950. Before
being diagnosed with MS, Marion was employed by the OI Glass Plant in Clarion, PA.
Marion was proceeded in death by husband, Martin (1988), and son, Dr. Mark D. Rakovan, D.O. (1987).
She is survived by sons, Martin R. Rakovan, Jr. and Michael A. Rakovan both of Brookville, three grandchildren Joshua, Jesse and Samantha, two great grandchildren Evie and Owen, brother Gary Kiser of Butler, PA and sister Marie (Kiser) Miley of Florida.
