Mark Lewis Alling, 43, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Thursday, March 26th after a car accident. He was born in Sheffield, PA, on June 25th, 1971 to Robert and Jacqueline Alling.
Mark graduated from Punxsutawney High School and went on to earn a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Cal State University. He and his beloved wife Nina had recently celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary. Mark excelled at athletics, was extremely handy, and a perennial winner of “Father of the Year.”
Mark was deeply passionate about his career as VP of Manufacturing at Dunn-Edwards Paints, loved outdoor activities, and prided himself on being a trusted and loyal friend.
He is survived by his parents, wife Nina, three adoring daughters Chloe, Abby, and Audrey, brother Rob, sister Cathy, and nephews Josh and Kyle. Mark was a positive influence on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Flowers for Mark can be delivered to Messinger Mortuary on the day of the service.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix AZ 85251.
Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:30 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
