CLARION, Pa. – The Rev. Lora A. Adams-King will be the keynote speaker at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Breakfast at 8 a.m. on January 18 at American Legion, Main Street, Clarion. The theme of the breakfast is “The King Legacy: And Justice for All.”
The cost is $7.00 at the door.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the breakfast for a food drive. Please RSVP to rsvp@clarion.edu.
King has been superintendent of Farrell Area School District since 2010. She serves as pastor of New Life Family Worship Center, Franklin. She has received multiple awards:
· Pennsylvania House of Representatives citation, 2012 and 2013
· Farrell High School Alumni Hall of Fame Inductee, 2013
· Westminster College Distinguished Alumni, 2012
· Cedar Avenue (Sharon) Church of God Hope Award, 2011.
She and her husband, Howard, have six adult daughters and eight grandchildren.
