Mary “Beth” (Holliday) Becker, age 60, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born in West Monterey on September 27, 1955, to the late Sam and Hazel (McFadden) Holliday. On June 1, 1974 she married Garry William Becker who preceded her in death on August 13, 2006.
She enjoyed working through puzzle books and watching daytime soap operas. She found in joy in yard selling, taking care of her family, and loved spending time with her grandson.
Beth is survived by her 2 sons; Garry W. Becker of Brookville and Shawn A. Becker of Leeper; 1 grandson, Jonathan W. Becker;
5 sisters, Mildred Ashbaugh of Lamartine; Carol Cummings of Strattanville; Leda Mae Pangallo of Brookville; Marie Myers of Brookville; and Jean Hannold of Baxter; 2 brothers, Don Holliday of Rockland and Randy Holliday of Brookville.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beth is preceded in death by 4 brothers, John Holliday; Larry Holliday; Arch Holliday; Bob Holliday; and 1 sister, Ethel Buzard.
Family and friends will be received from 9am – 12noon on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville PA, 15825.
A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, also at McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, beginning at 12noon with the Rev. John Kerr officiating. Interment will take place at the Roseville-Bethel Cemetery in Roseville, PA.
