Mary E. Cozzi, 95 of Mars passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Saxony Health Center.
Born October 2, 1921 in Falls Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan Pittsley Hopkins.
She worked as an infant nurse before she married. Mary enjoyed helping others first and foremost. She will always be remembered as a wonderful role model for those who knew her. She loved crosswords, puzzles, card games, shopping and casino’s.
Surviving are daughter, Cathrine (Ron) Book of Pittsburgh, son, Jeffery (Linda) Cairns of Butler, daughter-in-law, Cathy Cairns of Natrona Heights, 6 grandchildren; Eric Stefanski, Christopher (Jamie) Stefanski, Adam (Catherine) Cairns, Brian (Jillian) Cairns, Zachery Cairns, Samantha Cairns and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Cairns and her second husband, Robert D. Cozzi, a son, J. Michael Cairns and 6 siblings.
Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
