Mary Jane Irvine, 82, of Egypt Road, Brockway, Pa; died on April 14, 2015 at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Born on January 9, 1933 in DuBois, Pa; she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Sanford May. She was married to Donald C. Irvine and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1988.
Mary Jane was a homemaker, and was protestant by faith. She enjoyed her cats and working word search puzzles. The most important thing to her was being around and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Sheree (Ed) Lindemuth of Brockway, a cousin Dorothy Fassett of New Kensington, Pa; three grandchildren Chris Lindemuth, Timmy Irvine, Josh Irvine and one great grandson Easton Lindemuth.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, April 16 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 17 at 2:00 P.M. also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Cemetery at Hazen, Pa.
Memorial donations may be made to The Heart Center at Penn Highlands DuBois or the American Diabetes Association.
