Mary L. Kear

Mary L. Kear, 79, DuBois, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Penn Highlands Brookville.

Born February 17, 1936 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Otie E. (Smith) Robinson.

She married Donald E. Kear on July 11, 1959 in Falls Creek. He preceded her in death in January of 2005.

Mary graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1955. She was a homemaker. Mary was a member of the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed cooking and bowling at the Rec Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Bruce) Kuntz of Rockton, three siblings, Vera Guthridge of Ohio, Helen Ruth Dunlap of Florida, and James (Nora) Robinson of Falls Creek, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant daughter, Tammy, her sister, Betty Slattery, two infant brothers, and an infant sister.

Friends and family will be received Monday, June 29th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. in DuBois. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30th at 11 a.m. at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Kevin Barrett officiating. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery.
