Mary Louise McFallMary Louise McFall, 99, DuBois, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Christ the King Manor.

Born November 22, 1917, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Lindsey O. and Margaret (Hill) Grube.

On May 25, 1941, Louise married John Everett McFall at the DuBois Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2009.

Louise graduated from Sandy Township High School and the DuBois Business College. She retired from Brockway Glass. Her hobbies included playing the piano and organ, reading, and crafts. Louise was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, New Bethlehem Chapter #230.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (James) McFall May of York, PA; five grandchildren, Michele Golanka, Jennifer (Keith) Brown, Suzanne McFall, Melissa (Damon) Peck, and Daniel (Maria) May, as well as six great-grandchildren. Louise was the last member of her immediate family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Louise was preceded in death by two infant sons, Roy and Robert, a son, John David, a brother, Kenneth Grube, and a sister, Lois Meade.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, January 26th from 6-8 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. and Friday, January 27th from 10-11 a.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church in DuBois.

A funeral service will follow Friday’s visitation at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Sarah Ott-Sedgewick and LaMarr Adamson CLP co-officiating.

Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
