Mary Louise Shobert, 94, of DuBois, went to be with her Lord and Savior at the DuBois Nursing Home on May 19, 2015.
She was born on June 4, 1920 in Falls Creek, PA the daughter of the late Ida R. and Leroy J. Miller. She was married for 64 years to the late Wayne A. Shobert, Jr. , who passed away on April 26, 2015.
After graduating high school she went on to be a Lab Technician in the DuBois/Brookville area.
She dedicated her life to volunteer work for the Church where she played the piano and worked with many organizations. She was a devoted mother and loved every day she could seem hear from or know something about her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister Virginia Griffith of the DuBois Villiage, two sons: Robert and his wife Mary Ellen and Mark and his wife Susan Shobert; grandsons: Todd and his wife Jennifer, Christopher Thomas and granddaughter, Amy and her husband Anthony Rebyanski; four great grandchildren and three sister in laws: Patricia, Dorothy and Janet Shobert and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Dorothy Mohney.
Friends will be received from 10:00am until the hour of service on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery.
