Mary Mae (Dempsey) Dinger, 84, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2023, while a resident of Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
She was born on December 11, 1938, to the late Robert Charles and Elizabeth (Knapp) Dempsey in Brookville.
Mary attended Brookville Area High School.
She married the love of her life Everett Dinger; Everett preceded her in passing.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising their two daughters and son.
Mary also enjoyed going on walks and baking.
She loved to go camping with her family.
Mary is survived by son; Robert Dinger; daughter; Kathy Irwin; two grandchildren; Jodi Dinger and Samantha Dinger; four great-grandchildren; Mason, Madi, Onyx, and Emma; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in passing by stepmother; Ruby Dempsey; daughter; Lorie Dinger; three brothers; Ralph Dempsey, Clint Dempsey, and Robert Dempsey; and son-in-law; Steve Irwin.
All services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor, 417 PA-28, Brookville, PA 15825.
Final interment will take place at Emerickville Church of God Cemetery, Pinecreek, Jefferson Co., PA.
