She was born April 9, 1923, in Gaskill Township, a daughter of the late Larue (Cassidy) and Grover Cleveland Rhoades.
On May 31, 1951, she married Wallace F. Jordan, who preceded her in death on October 5, 1981.
She was a member of the Oliveburg Presbyterian Church.
Mary loved camping, playing cards, and bird watching.
She was a former employee of Stewarts Drug Store where she worked as a clerk.
Mary is survived by a nephew Bill Rhoades of Punxsutawney and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Edna L. Shaum and brother-in-law Oscar Dee Shaum.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, where a funeral service will be held following visitation at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Glenn McQuown officiating.
Interment will be in Oliveburg Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
